This fabric work as well as The Malady Of Elegance refer to the Panoramic spring collection (1998) of Hussein Chalayan and were published for the 10th anniversary booklet of Dover Street Market London in May 2014.  Both works associate with the female silhouette.

In Theory of Silence words form a lace. The words represent numbers referring to gendercide and the implications of sex selection.
